• As expected, Wonder-Witch features many references to the Bayonetta series and its titular witch main character, Bayonetta:
  • Obviously, Wonder-Witch is a witch who fights using guns, a reference to the Bullet Arts fighting style used by Bayonetta and other Umbra Witches.
    • Bayonetta herself also appears in the game as the Secret Wonderful One, Wonder-Bayonetta. Naturally, Wonder-Bayonetta is a Unite Gun User, similar to Wonder-Witch.
  • The clan Wonder-Witch is rumored to be descended from is a reference to Bayonetta's clan, the Umbra Witches.
  • The rumor that she "transforms into a hideously hairy beast" if disturbed is a reference to the Beast Within mechanic from the series.
  • Wonder-Witch's occupation as a librarian may be a reference to the fact that some people believe Bayonetta's glasses make her look like a stereotypical female librarian.
  • When all Wonderful Ones are sorted by numerical order, Wonder-Witch is listed next to Wonder-Sister, a reference to the fact that Bayonetta is known to pose as a nun to lure angels (Wonder-Sister herself is also a Unite Gun user.)
