"Tremble before the almighty Wallgah-Goojin!
Prepare for annihilation!"
― Walltha, Operation 005-C
The Wallgah-Goojin is a gigantic mech used by the GEATHJERK Supreme Armada. An upgraded version of the already powerful Gah-Goojin, the Wallgah-Goojin is 3rd class officer Walltha's personal machine.
The Wonderful 100 first fight it and its pilot in a "Punch-Out!" like match in Operation 005-C.
GEATHJERK File[]
A powerfully enhanced Walltha custom version of the bipedal assault weapon Gah-Goojin.
Though similar to Gah-Goojin in shape, it has been modified greatly in size. The Jerk-matter drive, its source of energy, has also undergone a drastic upgrade from the 3-DS version to the superior 3-DS-XL. All of the Gah-Goojin's weapons — including its mega photon cannon, the progressive photon cannons on its left and right sides, and the three-point diffusion plasma cannon on its torso — have all seen two to threefold increases in destructive power.
Although its weight has also increased significantly, plasma coating on its joints enables more than triple the previous drive response, and the necessary time for postural control has been shortened considerably. Overall, it has achieved a mobility far above that of Gah-Goojin. It also features GEATH-Titanium knuckle attachments on its power manipulators that increase hand-to-hand combat ability and pay homage to third-class GEATHJERK officer Walltha's militant nature.
Description[]
The Wallgah-Goojin is a variant of the Gah-Goojin tailored towards hand-to-hand combat, but retains all its predecessors ranged weaponry. Physically, the Wallgah-Goojin resembles a bigger, more heavily-armored Gah-Goojin, with the most notable differences being its deployable spiked knuckles and modified head, with a elongated cranium that folds down to reveal a tiki-like face when engaging in combat.
Just like is predecessor, the colored details on the Wallgah-Goojin will change depending on how much damage the mech has sustained, changing from blue, green, yellow, orange, and lastly to red when near destruction. Furthermore, damaging the Wallgah-Goojin will cause its tiki-face to develop cracks and swells the more hits it sustains.
History[]
The Wallgah-Goojin is first encountered in Operation 005-C. Piloted by its namesake, Walltha, the Wallgah-Goojin encounters the Wonderful 100 and their hijacked Gah-Goojin in Mt. Ogretoe. Walltha engages heroes in a mecha boxing match, but ultimately finds himself on the receiving end of a counterpunch. The Wonderful 100 then enter beaten the Wallgah-Goojin to battle Walltha personally. After Walltha is sufficiently damaged, the Wonderful 100 return to their Gah-Goojin and kick the Wallgah-Goojin into the lava.
However, the Wallgah-Goojin survives its lava bath and pursues the Wonder Ones and the Virgin Victory. As the volcano erupts, Walltha attempts to fire his mech's chest cannon at the heroes but is thwarted when Wonder-Green blows up said cannon with his Unite Gun. This and the erupting volcano causes the Wallgah-Goojin to explode, taking its pilot with it.
Giga-Goojin in Operation 008-C can be seen throwing Gah-Goojins and the occasional Wallgah-Goojin at Platinum Robo.
In Operation 009-B, Wallgah-Goojins will attempt to stop the combined Wonderful 100 and Guyzoch forces from landing on the GEATH-Wahksay. It and its missiles can be destroyed by using the Unify Naginata.
Gameplay[]
In Operation 005-C the player controls a Gah-Goojin and fights the Wallgah-Goojin in a Punch Out!! styled boxing match. Like a typial Punch Out!! opponent, the Wallgah-Goojin will usually block any stray punches, but counterattacking or dodging at the right time allows for players to exploit openings in the boss's defense. Furthermore, counterattacking at certain points allows the player to earn a Platinum Star, and three Platinum Stars allows the player to perform a powerful KO Punch that deals massive damage and instantly knocks out the Wallgah-Goojin. While the Wallgah-Goojin is knocked out, the player can charge their special laser meter, and when the gauge is full, the player can unleash the super laser for massive damage. It is recommended to stun the Wallgah-Goojin before using the special lasor or the KO Punch, as the boss can easily interrupt the attack. Most moves can be dodged by pressing the dodge button, save for a few exceptoins.
