After a long time spent screenshotting, writing articles, sorting everything, organizing everything, exhaustively checking for errors, and checking for version difference, I'm glad to announce that I've finally completed some easily accessible (well sort of) and high-quality guides for all collectibles in the game. And that's on top of some other tasks like finishing the Bottle-Caps page, cleaning up every character page (well, I'll do the enemies and villains later,) making some other interesting pages like the very-much-work-in-progress glitches page and a soon-to-be-worked on unused content page, and adding some fun little icons and images like
Unite Hand Unite Morph icons and Award pictures.
Now that this Wiki has something wonderful to show for it, I've got two announcements:
First: next week I'm placing a request to officially adopt the Wiki to receive Bureaucrat/Admin rights. This will allow me to get some much needed management done, including improving the navigation bar and designing a new theme for the Wiki. I kind of can't possibly imagine any reason why someone would oppose of me taking over the Wiki officially given I'm basically the only one regularly editing here, however, I think it's still the professional thing to do to give anyone a chance to discuss or comment if they want to.
Second: New theme and front page. I don't know about anyone else but I'm sick of this bone white text background and broken background image. Once I have access to the theme designer I'm giving this Wiki a makeover, and I have it in my mind to style things after the in-game interfaces. I have some ideas for both light and dark mode:
New theme ideas are definitely open to suggestions and discussions, and none of what I have in mind is set in stone. I also have to actually get a chance to use the theme designer to get a proper idea of what I can do with it, first.
Additionally, alongside designing a new theme I'll also be redesigning the Wiki's front page. It's really just kind of useless to be honest, it barely links to anything. But now, I think there are quite a lot of pages that really should get some proper attention in the form of direct links on the front page. A front page should represent the quality of the content in the rest of the Wiki, after all.
In the mean time, I'm going to be fixing up the CENTINELS and GEATHJERK pages and creating some proper Characters and Enemies pages, some other bits of cleanup, as well as digging up some more interesting content from the game's files (turns out there are tools to extract files from the PC version, finally. You can thank CEMU not displaying vignettes properly for making me try using proper extraction tools again.)
Anyone reading this announcement, feel free to comment on what you think! (especially about theme ideas)
