- Not to be confused with the smaller version of the same enemy, Koh-Tumeekey
Tumeekeys are adaptable weapons used by the GEATHJERK Federation Supreme Armada. Comprised of hundreds of interchangeable building blocks, Tumeekeys can freely transform into any shape or configuration, giving them a wide variety of abilities on the battlefield.
First encountered at the end of Operation 005-B, Tumeekeys are essentially a much more powerful mini boss version of the Koh-Tumeekeys encountered earlier in the Operation. Like their smaller variation, Tumeekeys primarily attack by crudely replicating your Unite Morphs, but in doing so they become vulnerable to the Unite Morph they're trying to copy.
GEATHJERK File[]
A general-purpose mobile weapon designed to adapt to any and all possible environments.
Its body is made up of hundreds of separate block units linked together via magnetic bonds to create the Tumeekey's different forms. Having no default shape, it transforms as necessary depending on its immediate environment in order to maximize its battle capabilities.
The Tumeekey's learning capability allows it to analyze enemies and acquire new functions not in its original programming. Its vital systems are dispersed throughout all of its blocks, meaning that even if some blocks are destroyed, the remaining units will remain functional and are capable of repairing damage themselves, making this a highly stable weapon.
Although it is protected by an immensely tough magnetic pulse barrier when in formation, its individual block units are very fragile, leaving Tumeekey extremely vulnerable should an enemy come across it when not in formation.
Description[]
The Tumekeey building itself
A Tumeekey consists of hundreds of cube-shaped, building block-like units that can link together magnetically to assume various shapes. Each block is black in color, roughly human-sized, and covered in glowing engravings, making them resemble the building blocks of an ancient stone structure.
Initially, a Tumeekey is comprised of exactly 202 blocks, and although they're not considered to have a default shape, Tumeekeys always revert to a pyramid-like, octahedron-shaped configuration in battle. While in their octahedron form, the top of a Tumeekey is adorned with halo-like holographic shapes.
Tumeekeys can transform into any shape, and they use this ability to attack you by replicating the main seven Unite Morph weapons. When transformed, Tumeekeys gain special armor that renders them immune to melee damage from any weapon except the Unite Morph they're replicating. While in this special armor state, any Unite Morph that comes in contact with them, even Unite Hammer, will break, whereas the matching Unite Morph will actually deal increased damage.
The sole exception to this is a Tumeekey's gun/cannon form, which which lacks armor and can actually be attacked using any Unite Morph.
Indirect contact from Unite Hammer's (or Unite Tombstone's) shock waves will cause your Unite Morph to break, but projectile weapons such as Unite Gun's bullets and the various combat items are still effective against an armored Tumeekey (there are some exceptions to this, see below).
In their octahedron form, Tumeekeys can also ram targets while shielding themselves using their special armor, and they can fire lasers into the ground to produce fiery eruptions.
Taking sufficient damage or having one of its attacks blocked will cause a Tumeekey to collapse, scattering its blocks across the ground and leaving them highly vulnerable until they can regroup and reassemble.
Like most GEATHJERK forces, the color of the glowing details on a Tumeekey indicate its health: changing from blue, to green, to orange, and finally to red as it's damaged until it's destroyed. More notably, a Tumeekey's blocks will gradually be destroyed as it takes damage, leaving holographically-filled gaps in its various configurations. Tumeekeys can continue to function as normal with some missing blocks, but once enough are destroyed it will completely lose its ability to assemble into any shape: in this state a Tumeekey is completely defenseless, and only capable of fleeing from enemies until it's finally destroyed.

Tumeekeys (as well as their smaller variation) are essentially a "Simon Says" enemy: watch what weapon they transform into, and quickly try to match it yourself so that you can attack them for massive damage. While certain attacks are instead better to block using Unite Guts or avoided altogether, you want to try and attack them with a matching Unite Morph as much as possible to take advantage of the increased damage, and then follow up with more attacks if you manage to scatter their blocks across the ground.
Tumeekeys possess the exact same attack patterns and abilities as Koh-Tumeekeys, and as such they can be fought in essentially the same ways.
- See Koh-Tumeekey#Gameplay for strategies and information that also apply to Tumeekeys.
The only major difference when fighting a Tumeekey is its increased size: this makes them a bigger and easier target for you to hit, but it also massively increases the range of their attacks, making them more difficult to avoid. As a result, if you aren't going to block or counter an attack, you should always dodge a Tumeekey's attack using Unite Spring even if you appear to be out of range, as pretty much any of their attacks can easily cover an entire Mission area.
Another lesser difference is the Tumeekey's gun form: rather than transforming into a pistol they transform into a large cannon. This form can be treated the same way as a Koh-Tumeekey's pistol form, and like it, it is its only form that can be attacked using any Unite Morph, making it relatively easy to counter. Notably, a Tumeekey's cannon projectile can reliably be blocked using Unite Guts, as unlike a Koh-Tumeekey's pistol bullet, it doesn't have the same tendency to explode on the ground next to you instead.
Glitches[]
Unite Goggles and Wonderful Forever Breaking on Armor[]
Due to a design oversight with Unite Goggles and Wonderful Forever (and to a minor extent Platinum Forever), these Unite Morphs cannot be used to safely attack a Tumeekey, as they will break on hit any time it's transformed into a weapon or while it uses its octahedron charge attack.
This behavior is unlike Unite Gun, Unite Bowgun, or the various combat items, which actually fire ranged projectiles that can safely damage a Tumeekey while it's armored.
Tumeekey Cutscene Glitch[]
Entering the trigger for the Tumeekey's intro cutscene in Operation 005-B using Unite Spring results in the unusual effect of most of your team members being transported into the position of the Tumeekey's blocks. Once the cutscene finishes, these team members will actually remain "trapped" in the Tumeekey and become unavailable to use in Unite Morphs. However, they will be ejected from the Tumeekey and become usable again as soon as it transforms, making the gameplay effects of this glitch practically inconsequential.

Trivia[]
Golem from Bayonetta
- The name Tumeekey is derived from "積み木 (tsumiki)", the Japanese word for toy building blocks.[1]
- A Tumeekey is comprised of 202 blocks. However, during the first Tumeekey's intro cutscene, when its blocks are laid out into a square on the ground, there are only 196 blocks: this is because it's impossible to lay out 202 blocks into a perfect square.
- The Koh-Tumeekey and Tumeekey enemy types are similar to the Golem enemies from the first Bayonetta game and its sequels.
- The Tumeekey is referred to as the "5th Stage Area Boss" in its concept art, suggesting that it may have originally been planned to be the boss of Operation 005-C instead of Walltha and Wallgah-Goojin.
