The Prince Vorkken is a downloadable game mode available exclusively for The Wonderful 101: Remastered released on August 28th 2021. This addon content allows you to play through the game as Prince Vorkken himself, not as a mere team member, but as the leader of the Wonderful Ones, and unlocks access to the full range of abilities seen in Vorkken's boss fights.

New DLC/add-on content makes a grand entrance into The Wonderful 101: Remastered!

Install “The Prince Vorkken” DLC to unlock a new mode that lets you change the main player character to Prince Vorkken Ohgee, heir to the throne of the comet Rhullo and leader of the star-spanning Guyzoch Space Pirates! As Prince Vorkken, the Multi-Unite ability is replaced with “Enemy-Unite,” which summons a host of “Unify Monster” alien beasts!

"The Prince Vorkken" also works with the free Time Attack DLC. Use Prince Vorkken’s Enemy Unite to carve out a new path, and perhaps a faster time!

*Players can switch freely between normal mode and The Prince Vorkken mode after installing “The Prince Vorkken” DLC.

Content

"Vorkken Mode" can be toggled on and off from the Operation Select menu, tinting the menu background purple when active. With Vorkken Mode activated, all story content and cutscenes remain the same, but in game you now control Prince Vorkken as leader of the Wonderful Ones.

Playing with Vorkken Mode active incurs three major effects:

1. Unlike in normal gameplay, the team leader can never be changed from Vorkken and all unite morph attacks are performed by Vorkken himself. This is denoted by a new purple health bar and all unite morphs being colored purple (as well as certain unite morphs having unique appearances when used by Vorkken)
2. As a backup attack (when there are insufficient members available to form a unite morph) Vorkken no longer weakly throws his boomerang, instead he swings it like a sword, executing a combo attack identical to a small size Unite-Sword (in both animation and damage) that depletes one bar of energy per swing. This combo is far more devastating than any normal backup attack and allows you to deal significant damage even when unable to Unite Morph.
3. Last and most importantly, the normal Multi-Unite mechanic is replaced with the Enemy-Unite ability. By drawing the shape of a Unite Morph and executing it using the Team Attack button, the Guyzoch are summoned to materialize a GEATHJERK monster corresponding to the Unite Morph drawn, and proceed to attack nearby enemies. These corresponding shapes are as follows:
   • Hand: Diedough-Goo
   • Sword: Nyerk
   • Gun: Raydown
   • Whip: Orgon
   • Hammer: Megang
   • Claw: Hah-Gonay
   • Bomb: Doora
   • Drill: Ankho
   • Bowgun: Dahkarts
   • Naginata: Chewgi's Naginata
   • Boomerang: Unify Vorkken
   • Goggles: Deah-Kani

To aid in remembering which Unite Morph corresponds to which Enemy-Unite, the Leader Select menu on the sub-screen is replaced by an Enemy-Unite guide.
Executing Enemy-Unites is dependent on the availability of the Unite Morphs associated to them. For example, It is not possible to summon a Raydown until Unite Gun is obtained in 001-B, and so forth, and Kahkoo-Regahs that limit the available Unite Morphs will limit their corresponding Enemy-Unites as well.
As Enemy-Unites are formed using the Guyzoch instead of the Wonderful Ones, they are not limited by the normal team member availability mechanics, and you can freely summon as many Enemy-Unites as you have Multi-Unite tiers purchased, for a maximum of four active Enemy-Unites.

Additionally, playing the game with The Prince Vorkken DLC installed will automatically provide Multi-Unite 1 for free, and activating Vorkken mode will permanently unlock Prince Vorkken as a team member and enable the use of Unify Boomerang, even after returning to Normal Mode.

During certain character-specific gameplay sequences you do not play as Vorkken, instead you continue to control the same characters you would in Normal Mode. These sequences are

• Will Wedgewood/Wonder-Red during the Prologue, until Mission 004.
• Any "Solo mode" sequence controlling Wonder-Blue, Wonder-Red, Wonder-Red (Emeritus), or Platinum Robo.
• Luka/Wonder-Goggles during the Epilogue, until Mission 004.
