- Not to be confused with the DLC for The Wonderful 101: Remastered, The Prince Vorkken (DLC).
"If it isn't the heir to the throne of the roaming Rhullo, leader of the Space Pirate band known across the universe as the Guyzoch... Prince Vorkken!"
― Wonder-Red's exceedingly long introduction for Prince Vorkken, Operation 004-B
Prince Vorkken Ohgee, better known as simply Prince Vorkken (or "Vorkkie" by an adoring fan), is the leader of the 100-strong Guyzoch Space Pirates and one of The Wonderful 101's main antagonists.
A mysterious warlord loosely allied to the GEATHJERK Federation Supreme Armada, Vorkken travels the galaxy searching for great warriors to join him in his rampage, leading him to seek out the Earth's most powerful defense force: the Wonderful Ones.
Targeting Wonder-Red as his next recruit, Vorkken follows the team across to world to test them in battle, quickly becoming rivals with the team's leader.
After a teaser appearance in the Prologue, Vorkken formally introduces himself in Operation 002-A, alongside his first mate, Chewgi, and his space ship, The Meizerr, before the first of many battles against the Guyzoch Space Pirates.
After a number of recurring battles, Vorkken eventually joins forces with the Wonderful Ones in their final confrontation against GEATHJERK, lending his unique Unify Boomerang ability to the team.
In addition to being unlockable as a Secret Character, Vorkken is also playable using The Prince Vorkken DLC, allowing you to play through the game with Vorkken's full combat abilities, including the powerful Enemy-Unite attacks.
GEATHJERK File[]
An alien from the Rhullo comet. Prince Vorkken is an outlaw who formed the powerful, 100-member-strong Guyzoch Space Pirate band and now serves as their leader. Arrogantly believing there is no one that could match his skills, he blatantly disregards the existence of others. Thus, his life consists of traveling from planet to planet in search of skilled soldiers, whom he overpowers and forces into servitude, constantly increasing his forces.
Vorkken has an exceptional understanding of the battlefield, a trait he has seemingly exhibited since birth. His Vanzen Suit, made by the most talented scientists on Rhullo, enables him to execute techniques equal to, or possibly superior to, the Unite Morph: the Unify Morph. The Unify Morphs can be even further strengthened by installing complex, high-tech Unify Morph data in the high-density holographic memory of V-Star, the autonomous information robot always by Vorkken's side.
Currently traveling alongside the GEATHJERK for unknown reasons, it is said that the population of Vorkken's home planet Rhullo was annihilated during one of the alien's invasions...
[The following paragraph is added after completing Operation 006-C]
On his home planet, he was the eldest son of the royal family and admired by his people as a kind, caring prince. After the GEATHJERK invasion destroyed Rhullo, however, his heart turned to stone, and he vowed revenge. Waiting for the right chance to defeat GEATHJERK, he will do anything to increase the strength of his army.
[The following paragraph is added after completing Operation 00A Epilogue]
Yet, hearing his sister's cry for help and seeing the Wonderful 100's passion changed Vorkken. He watched the people of Earth stand strong in the face of crisis, reviving his spirit and pushing him to join the Wonderful 100 in the fight against Jergingha.
His weapon is the Victor Boomerang, which flies in the exact orbit its user envisions. Spanning rapidly during flight, it cuts deep into its target upon contact.
[Added after unlocking Prince Vorkken as a Secret Character]
Weapon: Victor Boomerang
Draw a "V" with a pause at the bottom to execute Vorkken's Unify Morph. Can damage distant enemies.
Description[]
Appearance[]
As a Rhulloian, Vorkken closely resembles a human in appearance, the major differences being a purple/pink skin color, pointed ears, black scleras, and a third eye situated on the forehead. Vorkken has red eyes, golden blond hair, and being the stylish man he is, uses lipstick and eye shadow (although the latter hidden by his mask). Vorkken wears a Royal Vanzen Suit: a black and silver powered exoskeleton similar to a CENTINEL-Suit with a red V emblem across the chest and a slatted black mask. Vorkken's Vanzen Suit has a gold trim, distinguishing him from the rest of his crew, and lacks the large arm guards.
Similar to the Wonderful Ones' Unlimited Form, Prince Vorkken can activate Teio Form to increase his suit's power. In this form, a cape is released from the back of the suit and fang-like protective plates extend from his mask, covering his mouth.
When unmasked, Vorkken's suit vanishes and he is reduced to a full body white under suit.
Vorkken's weapon is the Victor Boomerang, a V-shaped boomerang with a holographic blade that can be swung like a sword or thrown as a long range weapon. When not in use, Vorkken's Victor Boomerang is concealed/stored as the Guyzoch emblem on the chest of his Vanzen Suit.
During flashbacks showing Vorkken's origins on Rhullo, his Vanzen Suit was originally white and blue. After being freed from GEATHJERK's influence, Vorkken's eyes turn blue; presumably his original eye color.
Personality and Background[]
"A merciless raider, pillager of worlds, with eyes that burn like flame!
The prince I once knew is gone. Now, only Vorkken, Space Pirate, remains."
― Immorta recounting Prince Vorkken's transformation, Operation 006-B
Prince Vorkken is introduced as a tyrant with no regard for others, who sees his crew as little more than tools to use against his enemies, and his enemies as nothing more than objects to dominate. Seeking to amass as much military power as possible, Vorkken travels the galaxy recruiting warriors into the Guyzoch by force, and pursues any promising recruits to test their might against his own.
In his arrogance Vorkken shows little respect for his enemies, a trait that most frequently manifests in-story as his insistence on referring to the Wonderful Ones as the Blunderful Ones, particularly "Blunder-Red", and referring to Earth as Dearth. Not only that, but Vorkken disregards his GEATHJERK allies as well, going so far as to dispose of them when they get in his way.
Despite his pompous cruelty, Vorkken is extremely well mannered and maintains a royal decorum in all situations, never breaking composure. A well cultured individual, Vorkken shows a liking for theatrics and romance, as he'll often muse poetically about his upcoming battles and go out of his way to make dramatic appearances. Vorkken also enjoys recounting his life's story, and will gladly recite his long winded and needlessly detailed tale his enemies.
Vorkken is a skilled combatant, and the only character in the entire game capable of executing any Morph attack himself. Vorkken is also a natural born leader, but commands his team using intimation and threats and regards them as mere pawns; which is complete contrast to Wonder-Red, who leads by example and seeks to understand earn the respect of his team so that they may cooperate to their fullest potential. These opposing ideologies, in addition to Vorkken's desire to absorb the Wonderful Ones into the Guyzoch, are the source of Prince Vorkken and Wonder-Red's rivalry.
It's not until Immorta shares the story of GEATHJERK's destruction of Rhullo that another side of Vorkken is revealed. Prince Vorkken was once a kindhearted and charitable ruler beloved by his people, and personally led the charge to defend his home when GEATHJERK invaded Rhullo. Despite Vorkken's valiant efforts, little could be done to save his home from GEATHJERK's overwhelming forces. Vorkken was thought to have perished alongside his people, until he inexplicably resurfaced as an ally of GEATHJERK.
Ultimately, Wonder-Red deduced that Vorkken was amassing power with the intent to betray GEATHJERK and avenge the people of Rhullo, but in his single-minded desire for revenge he completely abandoned his former glory as Rhullo's cherished leader, and in the end he was merely spreading chaos across the galaxy just like the GEATHJERK.
It wasn't until Vorkken was finally humbled by a decisive defeat at the hands of the Wonderful Ones that his original self began to resurface. Despite doubting humanity's chances of survival, Vorkken eventually sought to redeem himself and joined the Wonderful Ones in their battle against Jergingha. It was only after forming a true alliance with not only the Wonderful Ones, but also his sister and his former crew, that Vorkken was finally able to bring the GEATHJERK to justice.
Following the defeat of GEATHJERK, Vorkken expressed his admiration and respect for the people of Earth, and pledged to make amends across the galaxy with the support of Immorta and the Guyzoch.
A newspaper headline in the Epilogue reveals that Vorkken was eventually crowned "Mr. Universe" on Earth. The Wonderful 101 Operation WOOF! reveals that after the events of the game, Prince Vorkken briefly returned to Earth with Chewgi after following Immorta's attempt to see Wonder-Red again, and that he seems to enjoy tormenting his little sister over her crush on him.
Gameplay (Enemy)[]
No action game is complete without a rival to butt heads with, and with his own 100-man team at his disposal and the ability to create Unify Morphs, Vorkken can do (mostly) anything you can, adheres to much of the same combat rules you do, and also has his own unique abilities to throw into the mix.
With 5 distinct battles over the course of the game (and a bonus 6th) that each give Vorkken new abilities and progressively more complex tactics, the Space Pirate is by far the most unique and complex enemy to approach in the entire game, and even skilled players can have trouble figuring out an effective strategy for these fights.
- For an in-depth guide on how best to fight Prince Vorkken and the Guyzoch Space Pirates, see Prince Vorkken (Strategy).
Prince Vorkken and the Guyzoch Space Pirates are encountered during Operation 002-A, 004-B, 005-A, and 006-C in a two-part battle. They also appear in Operation 101.
Gameplay (Playable)[]
As a Team Member[]
As part of the game's story, Prince Vorkken becomes a temporary member of the team at the end of Operation 009-B and for the duration of Operation 009-C.
As the only Boomerang user in the game, Prince Vorkken enables the use of Unify Boomerang: a unique ranged Unite Morph which throws an enemy-seeking boomerang that damages anything in its path.
Note that Prince Vorkken is a temporary member only available during the aforementioned levels. To use Prince Vorkken (and Unify Boomerang) on every level, he must be unlocked as a Secret Wonderful One.
The Prince Vorkken (DLC)[]
Prince Vorkken also is playable using The Prince Vorkken DLC exclusive to The Wonderful 101: Remastered, which allows you to play through the game with access to Vorkken's full combat abilities as seen during his boss fights, including the powerful Enemy-Unite attacks.

Quotes[]
"They will bow before me like all the rest."
― Prince Vorkken after observing the Wonderful Ones for the first time, Operation 000 Prologue
"At last, I lay eyes on the pathetic planet Chi-Q. What do you call it? Dearth?"
― Prince Vorkken laying his eyes on the planet Dearth, Operation 002-A
"You are someone of some authority, then? I can see it in your eyes."
― Vorkken meeting Red for the first time, Operation 002-A
"Blunder-Red. A fascinating name!"
― Vorkken kicking off a new running gag, Operation 002-A
"As for myself, I am heir to the throne of the comet Rhullo and extraordinary leader of the Space Pirates, Guyzoch! To my people, I am the esteemed Vorkken Ohgee! However, since I've been informed your language lacks the proper reverence for my title, I will allow you to call me Prince Vorkken."
― Prince Vorkken's self-introduction, Operation 002-A
"We meet again, warrior of Dearth. I trust you've been well?"
― Prince Vorkken greeting Wonder-Red, Operation 004-B
"If it isn't the heir to the throne of the roaming Rhullo, leader of the Space Pirate band known across the universe as the Guyzoch... Prince Vorkken!"
― Wonder-Red's introduction for Prince Vorkken, Operation 004-B
"The strong stand tall! The weak kneel! Such is the law of the universe!"
― Vorkken touting his idea of strength to Wonder-Red, Operation 006-C
"You're wrong. The truly strong are those who help the weak stand."
― Wonder-Red's retort, Operation 006-C
"It's not what you've lost. It's what you've found. A Space Pirate? Really? The people of Rhullo loved you, and now you're a miscreant, a malefactor, another grub in the garbage pile. That... and you don't seem to know when you're beat, my dear brother!"
― Immorta calling out Vorkken, Operation 006-C
"You think power will bring happiness to those you loved. [...] That's what you're doing, isn't it. Powering up, so you can take revenge. And you don't care who else has to suffer so you can have it. [...] But who would that revenge serve? Your heart is a black hole now, feeding on hate just like the GEATHJERK. No, you're worse than the invaders! [...] You've trampled the good you should have been fighting for... thrown away the pride, the honor of your home. All for nothing."
― Wonder-Red laying a verbal beatdown on Prince Vorkken, Operation 006-C
"You're a nuisance!"
― Prince Vorkken's Taunt (playable)
When fought as an enemy, Prince Vorkken also has multiple random taunts. These appear to have no effect on the battle:
- "Join the Guyzoch!"
- "Blunderful pain in the bottom!"
- "Come and get me, Blunderful One!"
- "Dying is a terrible thing!"
- "Hahahahahah!"

Trivia[]
- As a running gag, Wonder-Red recites an lengthy introduction for Prince Vorkken in its entirety every time they meet after their first encounter. This happens four times over the course of the game, or six if you're to include the variation Red that came up with for Chewgi.
- Prince Vorkken's full name, Vorkken Ohgee, is derived from "暴君 (bōkun)", the Japanese word for tyrant, and "皇子 (ōji)", the Japanese word for prince.[1]
- The name Guyzoch is derived from "海賊 (kaizoku)" the Japanese word for pirate. [1]
- The name of the Guyzoch's suits, the Vanzen Suits, is derived from "万全 (banzen)", the Japanese word for flawless.[1]
- The name of Vorkken's transformation, the Teio Form, is derived from "帝王 (teiō)", the Japanese word for emperor. [1]
- The name of Vorkken's home world, Rhullo, is derived from "流浪 (rurō)", the Japanese word for wandering. [1]
- Prince Vorkken's power, speed, wisdom, and danger quotient all consist of all 6's, in reference to the number 666, or the Number of the beast.
- It's easy to miss, but some of Prince Vorkken's Unify Morphs have a different appearance to that of their Unite Morph equivalents: Vorkken's Unify Bazooka resembles a realistic Bazooka, his Unify Whip has no spikes giving it a more skeletal appearance, and his Unify Guts is topped with an orange instead of a cherry. Strangely, when playing in Vorkken Mode he still uses the cherry-topped Guts.
- Not counting Operation 101, Prince Vorkken is fought more than any other boss in the game in a total of four encounters.
- Prince Vorkken is the only boss character that doesn't have a gravestone depicted on their defeat bottle-cap. Instead, Vorkken's bottle-cap shows him waving a white flag in surrender.
- When fighting against Prince Vorkken, Wonder-Pink gets multiple unique voice lines.
- The animation for Prince Vorkken's "backup attack" (when there aren't enough team members to create a unite morph), wherein he brandishes his Victor Boomerang from the emblem on his chest and throws it, is reminiscent of the Voomerang attack from Viewtiful Joe.
- Prince Vorkken's initial attempt at offering Wonder-Red to join the Guyzoch, "Join me, and together we will rule the galaxy as-," is a quote lifted from Star Wars: Episode V – The Empire Strikes Back.
- In the vignette depicting Prince Vorkken leading Rhullo's forces against GEATHJERK, he is surrounded by a team wielding a variety of weapons not unlike the main members of the Wonderful Ones. Apart from Vorkken and his boomerang, there's a bowgun user (most likely Immorta), a sword or spear user, a flail user, a hammer user, a throwing star user, and what appears to be a shield user.
- Prince Vorkken's english voice actor, Quinton Flynn, also voices Raiden from the Metal Gear franchise and the main character of Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, a game developed by PlatinumGames prior to The Wonderful 101.
- Prince Vorkken's character arc strongly parallels that of Vegeta from the Dragon Ball franchise: they are both royal heirs that allied with forces that destroyed their home world, and were initially antagonistic rivals to the series protagonists until eventually joining forces with them to turn against the destroyer of their home world.
- Prince Vorkken and Chewgi are intended to be able to display their "Damager Ver." models in the Member Files. Due to an oversight, however, this option is actually broken, as their "Damager Ver." options instead display their unmasked models (with a proper "Unmasked" option missing as well.) This oversight is present on every version of the game.
