Orgons are burrowing, snake-like space beasts used by the GEATHJERK Federation Supreme Armada. By producing ultrasonic vibrations, Orgons can burrow through virtually any material at high speeds, allowing them to hunt prey from beneath the ground.
First encountered in Operation 003-C, Orgons are fast and highly evasive enemies that spend most of their time hiding underground, making them difficult to pin down in battle.
GEATHJERK File[]
A serpentine space beast that once lived deep underground.
Using ultrasonic vibrations, it can burrow through earth as though swimming through water. Much like a mole, it likes to lure prey into its tunnels or lie in wait for prey to walk overhead before leaping out and feasting.
Orgons burn up energy so quickly that they require constant sustenance, which gives them a ravenous, insatiable appetite. Some have been capture by the GEATHJERK and made into cyborgs in order to prolong their lifespan and lower their metabolism, making them useful as biological weapons. In spite of these efforts, their desire to hunt remains, which makes them dangerous to anything that gets too close.
Though it uses the serrated appendage on its tail to attack its prey from underneath the ground, this same tail can give it away to nearby enemies, making it something of a double-edged sword.
Description[]
Orgons resemble enormous, silver-colored snakes with gold-colored cybernetic heads and tails, as well as several gold-colored bands along the length of their bodies. Orgons have a single large cybernetic eyeball above their fanged mouth, wing-like fins on the side of their head, and a large rudder-like dorsal fin on the back of their head, which tends to stick out of the ground like a shark's fin in water while an Orgon is underground, giving away its position. An Orgon's tail is hook-shaped with a chainsaw-like serrated blade at its tip, which Orgons use to attack from underground. Like other space beasts, Orgons possess rows of flashing red dots all along the length of their bodies.
After taking damage, an Orgon's silver scales and parts of its gold cybernetics will start breaking off, exposing the creature's flesh underneath.
Orgons are subterranean creatures that burrow through the ground using ultrasonic vibrations, and in addition to using their serrated tails to stab at enemies from below, Orgons can also attack enemies by producing electric charges, or by using their exposed dorsal fin to cut into enemies while remaining underground. Although they usually stay underground, Orgons also possess the ability to fly through the air.

Orgons are relatively easy to fight, as they're not particularly aggressive enemies, and their most common attacks are obvious and easy to avoid. Rather, the biggest problem with fighting Orgons is trying to attack them in the first place, as they move around quickly and avoid you between attacks, which not only gets annoying, but also wastes a lot of time and can prevent you from getting a Platinum Time score on a Mission.
Like most other enemies, the best time to attack an Orgon is after stunning it, and launching them into the air to extend their stun time is especially useful. However, unlike nearly every other enemy in the game, Orgons have no attacks that can be blocked using Unite Guts to stun them.
Instead, the easiest way to stun an Orgon is to wait for it to use its tail stab attack: if you use Unite Whip to hit an Orgon's tail while it's performing this attack, you'll pull it out of the ground, instantly stunning it.
Orgons are also one of the few enemies that can be stunned simply from taking damage, but because they hide underground this is tricky to do. The best opportunity to stun an Orgon like this is when it emerges from the ground before using its lightning breath attack: this is the only time an Orgon ever stays in one place, making it easy to attack it until it's stunned. If you aren't quick enough the Orgon will complete its lightning breath attack and damage you, so it may be worth using Unite Sword for protection, but a powerful weapon like Unite Hand will usually deal enough damage to stun it in time.
Alternatively, when an Orgon is underground its dorsal fin acts as a weak-point, allowing it to be attacked. Using a wide-reaching Unite Morph like a max size Unite Sword to hit it as it moves around, or Unite Bomb to keep it in one place, you can attack an Orgon's fin until it's stunned.
The Orgon's most dangerous attacks are its spin slash and zig zag slash attacks, where it electrifies its dorsal fin and starts moving around wildly at high speeds. Unlike their other attacks, these attacks are used with no warning, so for this reason you should keep your distance from an Orgon unless it's busy performing another attack, otherwise you risk being suddenly hit by these attacks at any time.
The Orgon's sky dive attack can also damage you with no warning as it ascends into the air, however, Orgons tend to move away from you just before using it, making it unlikely to hit you in this way. The dive portion of this attack is slightly more dangerous as it flattens you if it hits you, but it's easily avoided by running away from the target that appears on the ground, or by using Unite Hammer to shield yourself from the Orgon diving back into the ground.

GEATHJERK File No.021[]
- Location: Operation 005-A
The Orgon GEATHJERK File can be found inside a Wonderful Toilet located in a hidden area accessed by jumping down from the bottom left ledge of the Mission 005 area (Where Wonder-Black and Dooras are encountered for the first time.)
Note that 100 Members are required to plunder this Wonderful Toilet.
Enemy Weapon[]
When killed using the correct Unite Morph, an Orgon will drop its Enemy Weapon: the Orgon Tail.
Orgon Tails are 10 charge Enemy Weapons that perform an overhead slash into the ground when used, making them similar to Ankho Swords. Although they have a short range, Orgon Tails are fast and deal a moderate amount of damage per attack, and they have a tendency to hit larger enemies multiple times in a single attack, making them worth using against most enemies when available.
As a sharp weapon, Orgon Tails can be used to attack a Nyerk.

Trivia[]
- Orgons are based on the Quimbaya "airplanes", a set of stylized animal figures from pre-Columbian Colombia that are often claimed to be out-of-place artifacts due to their semblance to modern day airplanes. A sketch of a Quinbaya airplane is even included on the Orgon's concept art.
- The name Orgon is derived from "黄金 (ōgon)", a Japanese word for gold used in "黄金スペースシャトル (Kogane supēsushatoru, Golden Space Shuttles)", the Japanese name for the Quimbaya airplanes.[1]
- Orgons are the only regular enemy type to be introduced in a boss level.
