Mother Platinum is the CENTINELS top-secret nerve center. A gigantic supercomputer hidden underground beneath Blossom City, Mother Platinum is needed to control both Earth's Hyper Plasma Shield (code-named Margarita) as well as the Shirogane Comet, making it the backbone of humanity's defense against the GEATHJERK invasion.
As humanity lacked the technology to artificially build a computer powerful enough for these tasks, Mother Platinum's creation (and by extension, Margarita) was only made possible thanks to Professor Margarita: a brilliant young scientist who volunteered sacrifice her life to become the neural computer at the heart of Mother Platinum.
Mother Platinum's defense is the primary objective of Operation 008 Blossom City State of Emergency. Following Luka's defection to GEATHJERK, the invaders discovered the existence of the supercomputer and unearthed it, destroying Blossom City in the process. Realizing they could cripple humanity's entire strategy in one move, the GEATHJERK began focusing their efforts on destroying Mother Platinum, with Gimme leading the charge.
