- Not to be confused with their larger variation, Tumeekey.
Koh-Tumeekeys are adaptable weapons used by the GEATHJERK Federation Supreme Armada. Comprised of dozens of interchangeable building blocks, Koh-Tumeekeys can freely transform into any shape or configuration, giving them a wide variety of abilities on the battlefield.
First encountered in Operation 005-A, not long before the final main Unite Morph is obtained, Koh-Tumeekeys primarily attack by crudely replicating your Unite Morphs, but in doing so they become vulnerable to the Unite Morph they're trying to copy.
A larger Koh-Tumeekey comprised of a higher number of blocks is instead considered to be a Tumeekey, which are much more powerful.
GEATHJERK File[]
A Tumeekey comprised of fewer blocks.
Its smaller size means that its information processing, offense, and mobility are greatly reduced compared to its larger sibling, but its transformation, learning, and self-repair abilities remain equal.
One aspect where it easily trumps its sibling is energy consumption. Thanks to its fewer blocks it uses far less magnetic energy, and thus can remain active for much longer periods.
Description[]
A Koh-Tumeekey consists of several cube-shaped, building block-like units that can link together magnetically to assume various shapes. Each block is black in color, roughly human-sized, and covered in glowing engravings, making them resemble the building blocks of an ancient stone structure.
Initially, a Koh-Tumeekey is comprised of exactly 34 blocks, and although they're not considered to have a default shape, Koh-Tumeekeys always revert to a pyramid-like, octahedron-shaped configuration in battle.

Trying (and failing) to hammer a Koh-Tumeekey that has transformed into a sword.
Koh-Tumeekeys can transform into any shape, and they use this ability to attack you by replicating the main seven Unite Morph weapons. When transformed, Koh-Tumeekeys gain special armor that renders them immune to melee damage from any weapon except the Unite Morph they're replicating. While in this special armor state, any Unite Morph that comes in contact with them, even Unite Hammer, will break, whereas the matching Unite Morph will actually deal increased damage.
The sole exception to this is a Koh-Tumeekey's gun form, which which lacks armor and can actually be attacked using any Unite Morph.
Indirect contact from Unite Hammer's (or Unite Tombstone's) shock waves will cause your Unite Morph to break, but projectile weapons such as Unite Gun's bullets and the various combat items are still effective against an armored Koh-Tumeekey (there are some exceptions to this, see below).
In their octahedron form, Koh-Tumeekeys can also ram targets while shielding themselves using their special armor, and they can fire lasers into the ground to produce fiery eruptions.

A damaged Koh-Tumeekey with missing blocks.
Taking sufficient damage or having one of its attacks blocked will cause a Koh-Tumeekey to collapse, scattering its blocks across the ground and leaving them highly vulnerable until they can regroup and reassemble.
Like most GEATHJERK forces, the color of the glowing details on a Koh-Tumeekey indicate its health: changing from blue, to green, to orange, and finally to red as it's damaged until it's destroyed. More notably, a Koh-Tumeekey's blocks will gradually be destroyed as it takes damage, leaving holographically-filled gaps in its various configurations. Koh-Tumeekeys can continue to function as normal with some missing blocks, but once enough are destroyed it will completely lose its ability to assemble into any shape: in this state a Koh-Tumeekey is completely defenseless, and only capable of fleeing from enemies until it's finally destroyed.

Koh-Tumeekeys (as well as their larger variation) are essentially a "Simon Says" enemy: watch what weapon they transform into, and quickly try to match it yourself so that you can attack them for massive damage. While certain attacks are instead better to block using Unite Guts or avoided altogether, you want to try and attack them with a matching Unite Morph as much as possible to take advantage of the increased damage, and then follow up with more attacks if you manage to scatter their blocks across the ground.
The general strategy for each of a Koh-Tumeekey's "Unite Morph" attacks are as follows:
- Hand: The easiest form to counter, as they come right up to you, give you plenty of time to react before attacking, and Unite Hand itself deals enough damage for you to stun them in only one or two hits. While this form can be blocked using Unite Guts, going for the counter is so easy that you should always try it.
- Sword: Somewhat trickier to counter, as they attack quickly and Unite Sword's low damage makes it difficult to stun them in time. A good way of attacking them is to use Wonderful Rising followed by basic slashes or Wonderful Cyclones once you're in the air: if that doesn't deal enough damage to stun the Koh-Tumeekey, then you'll be off the ground and safely away from its sword thrust.
- Gun (Pistol): A Koh-Tumeekey can be attacked using any weapon when in this form, so if you're nearby you can simply rush it with whatever you have ready. Otherwise, you should just avoid the bullet by dodging instead. The bullet can be blocked, reflecting it back for massive damage, but it has a strong tendency to hit the ground next to you instead, resulting in an explosion that will break Unite Guts. To reliably block the bullet, jump before activating Unite Guts to make it hit you in midair.
- Whip: Relatively easy to counter, as the Koh-Tumeekey waits a few moments before attacking, giving you plenty of time to attack it until it's stunned. It also "rests" for a moment after finishing its attack, giving you a second opportunity to stun it if you evaded its attack. Unlike Prince Vorkken's Unify Whip, a Koh-Tumeekey's whip form can actually be blocked using Unite Guts.
- Hammer: The Koh-Tumeekey attacks too quickly to reliably hit it with Unite Hammer, so your only real option is to just block it instead. Unlike Vorkken's Unify Hammer, the shock wave is actually blockable.
- Claw: Easy to counter, as even though the Koh-Tumeekey attacks very quickly after transforming, it "rests" for a longer period afterwards, giving you a chance to move in with Unite Claw. Unite Claw's low damage makes it unlikely to stun the Koh-Tumeekey, but it'll still deal increased damage.
- Bomb: While not impossible, it's highly impractical to damage a Koh-Tumeekey using Unite Bomb until it's stunned, so your only real option is to block or dodge it instead. The trajectory of a Koh-Tumeekey's bomb throw is somewhat unintuitive and can sometimes hit you earlier or later into the throw than you'd expect, messing up your timing. To avoid this, stop moving when you see a Koh-Tumeekey transform into a bomb and stay still until it throws, and it should hit you in a predictable manner.
At the start of a battle, a Koh-Tumeekey will seemingly always transform into either a Hand or a Claw first.
Like Megangs, Koh-Tumeekeys almost always appear in pairs. Luckily, they're no where near as effective at protecting each other as a pair of Megangs are, but when fighting a pair of Koh-Tumeekeys you should still avoid attacking them when they get too close together: if they transform into two different weapons at the same time it may be impossible to safely attack either of them without hitting the other. Alternatively, if they happen to transform into the same weapon at the same time, you'll get a good opportunity to deal massive damage to both of them.
Koh-Tumeekeys can also use two attacks in their octahedron form: they can shield themselves in a special armor barrier and attempt to ram you, or fire lasers into the ground to produce fiery eruptions. Sometimes they'll even use both attacks at the same time. The ramming attack cannot be blocked and will break Unite Morphs on contact, and while Unite Hand will shield you from the eruptions there's not much use in going out of your way to do so, so your only real option for these attacks is to just flee until they're over.
A Koh-Tumeekey being scattered across the ground doesn't actually count as a real stun, and thus you normally won't earn any + 100PTS. bonuses from attacking it. Individual blocks can actually be launched using Wonderful Rising Skills and juggled in midair to earn
+ 100PTS. bonuses until they land, but doing so generally isn't necessary to earn a Platinum Combo score on a Mission.
When a Koh-Tumeekey's blocks are scattered, you can quickly restore Unite Energy by standing amongst the blocks to make your idle team members attack the many targets, filling the Unite Gauge with each attack.
If you don't want to risk being attacked by a Koh-Tumeekey while trying to match its weapon, then you can just focus on blocking their attacks and only attacking them when they're scattered instead. This is safer, but because you don't earn extra Combo points by attacking a scattered Koh-Tumeekey like you would from attacking a stunned enemy, there's less of an advantage to fighting them this way compared to other enemies.
Regardless of how you approach them, be careful if you chose to attack a Koh-Tumeekey in its octahedron form, as your Unite Morph can break if it transforms into a non-matching weapon or if it starts its ramming attack. Unless you can consistently put away your Unite Morph before it breaks after hitting something, avoid attacking a Koh-Tumeekey in its octahedron form.
Koh-Tumeekeys are also susceptible to climb attacks in their octahedron form, but being stunned this way only immobilizes them and they can't be launched in any way. Individual blocks are also susceptible to climb attacks, but this doesn't lead to a stun and is only useful for its lock-on effect and dealing small amounts of damage.
Once a Koh-Tumeekey's health is nearly depleted it loses the ability to assemble into any shape: at this point the fight is over, and all you have left to do is finish off the remaining blocks as they start fleeing from you.
Glitches[]
Unite Goggles and Wonderful Forever Breaking on Armor[]
Due to a design oversight with Unite Goggles and Wonderful Forever (and to a minor extent Platinum Forever), these Unite Morphs cannot be used to safely attack a Koh-Tumeekey, as they will break on hit any time it's transformed into a weapon or while it uses its octahedron charge attack.
This behavior is unlike Unite Gun, Unite Bowgun, or the various combat items, which actually fire ranged projectiles that can safely damage a Koh-Tumeekey while it's armored.
Stray Block Glitch[]

Don't ever talk to me or my...
When a Koh-Tumeekey transforms into a gun and fires, the block that was fired as a bullet frequently fails to rejoin the rest of the blocks when the Koh-Tumeekey reverts to its octahedron form afterwards, causing it to follow along outside it instead. This almost always occurs when the bullet is successfully blocked using Unite Guts. This glitch usually fixes itself after the Koh-Tumeekey transforms again.
The effects of this glitch are purely visual and the stray block cannot actually be damaged. The glitch also reveals that the block fired as a bullet is actually an extra block, as can be seen if the glitch happens with a Koh-Tumeekey that still possesses all 34 of its original blocks. The stray block also doesn't change in color as the Koh-Tumeekey is damaged, instead staying the same color that it was when the Koh-Tumeekey fired it.

Trivia[]

Golem from Bayonetta
- The name Koh-Tumeekey is derived from "小 (ko)", a Japanese prefix meaning small, and "積み木 (tsumiki)", the Japanese word for toy building blocks.[1]
- A Koh-Tumeekey is comprised of 34 blocks.
- The Koh-Tumeekey and Tumeekey enemy types are similar to the Golem enemies from the first Bayonetta game and its sequels.
