"Please remember, that seemingly normal student ID is actually a top secret CENTINELS security card! *Bzzt!*"
― P-Star, The Wonderful One: After School Hero
ID cards are possessed by almost every character in the game (including Minor Wonderful Ones), and are displayed during intro cutscenes, revealing minor personal information about each character.
In The Wonderful 101, ID cards were merely a small character detail with no actual purpose. However, in The Wonderful One: After School Hero, ID cards were expanded upon, and play a major role in the game's story, revealing that not only do all ID cards possess integrated circuit (IC) chips allowing their owners access to electronic devices, but that some civilian ID cards also double as top secret CENTINELS security cards.

Trivia[]
- As they automatically join your team with no introduction, the ID cards of the 18 Minor Wonderful Ones you start with at the beginning of the game are never seen. These ID-less characters are as follow:
- Despite them not having their ID cards displayed, all 18 of these characters still possess unused ID card photos that can be found in the game's files. Additionally, Arthur Wedgewood, as Wonder-Daddy, also has an unused masked ID card photo.
- Erroneously, Wonder-Goggles' ID Card still reads "Wonderful 100", when at that point in this story it should be changed to "Wonderful 101".
- Official replicas of Wonder-Red's Wonderful 100 ID card were created as a backer reward in the Kickstarter campaign for The Wonderful 101: Remastered.
