Hah-Markees are bomber crafts used by the GEATHJERK Federation Supreme Armada. Although they lack the maneuverability of other Dough-Goo crafts, Hah-Markees are capable of high speeds, and using dimensional displacement technology they can fire missiles indefinitely.
First encountered in Operation 002-A, Hah-Markees are unique enemies that only appear during two Missions in the entire game.
GEATHJERK File[]
A Dough-Goo bomber.
Accommodates three riders:
a pilot, a bombardier, and an electronic-warfare specialist.
A dimensional displacement chamber enables it to fire unlimited missiles, and a nuclear fusion pulse engine allows for phenomenal speeds, making this unit one of the most strategically useful air-support GEATHJERK weapons.
Though its large size and weight make it ill suited for precision operations, it is nonetheless highly effective in air-to-air, air-to-ship, and air-to-ground combat.
Description[]
Hah-Markees are silver, pill-shaped bomber crafts with a row of three domed cockpits on their top side. A Hah-Markee's most significant feature is its missile launch system: the entire interior of their fuselage is a dimensional displacement chamber that teleports missiles into it on command, which are then lowered out of the underside of the Hah-Markee and launched. This results in a slow firing rate, but an effectively infinite supply of powerful ammo.
Like most GEATHJERK forces, the colored details on a Hah-Markee indicate its health: changing from blue, to green, and finally to black as it's damaged until it's destroyed. However, Hah-Markees are usually destroyed in one hit before they can change color.
Gameplay[]
The Hah-Markees' only major appearance is during the maglev Mission in Operation 002-A, where they appear in waves to shoot down your maglev using their missiles. Like the maglev, the Hah-Markees and their missiles are restricted to moving along the three rails, and while they don't change rails they're constantly replaced as they're destroyed, meaning they must be fought or avoided until they retreat.
Their missiles can be avoided by jumping over them or changing rails, however, it's much easier to shoot them down using Unite Gun before they hit you.
Hah-Markees make their second and final appearance during the Cough-Foon hijacking Mission in Operation 002-B. During the Mission you'll cross paths with fleets of Hah-Markees: they're not capable of damaging your Cough-Foon, but they can be destroyed to earn large amounts of Combo points, which can be essential to earning a Platinum Combo score for this Mission on higher Difficulty levels.

Trivia[]
- The name Hah-Markee is derived from "葉巻 (hamaki)", the Japanese word for cigar, in reference to their cigar-like cylinder shape. [1]
- The unusual color sequence that Hah-Markees go through when damaged (blue-green-black, as opposed to blue-green-orange-red like other enemies) may be an oversight resulting from the fact that they're usually killed in one hit, and they may not have been expected to survive long enough to change colors properly.
