Assorted Enemy Weapons
Enemy Weapons are a special type of item that can be obtained from most enemies in The Wonderful 101. When picked up, Enemy Weapons can be used to deal large amounts of damage and earn a large amount of Combo points, making them valuable tools whenever they can be obtained, but they have a limited number of uses, so they have to be used carefully to take full advantage of their power.
Picking up all Enemy Weapon types at least once is the objective of the Mind If I Borrow That? Bottle-Cap.
After picking up an Enemy Weapon, it can be dropped by quickly moving back and forth. Enemy Weapons are also dropped if the Team Leader is hit by an attack.
How to Obtain[]
Enemies capable of dropping an Enemy Weapon on death spawn into combat with an animation consisting of several color-coded rings. These color-coded rings will be one of the seven colors corresponding to the seven basic Unite Morph attacks: red for Unite Hand, blue for Unite Sword, green for Unite Gun, pink for Unite Whip, yellow for Unite Hammer, white for Unite Claw, and purple for Unite Bomb.
If the last hit before such an enemy dies is dealt using the Unite Morph corresponding to the color of the rings, the enemy will drop its Enemy Weapon on death.
Note that there are a variety of exceptions when it comes to using other abilities and items to obtain Enemy Weapons:
- Justice Missiles, Fire Victory Torpedoes, and Thunder Victory Torpedoes can be used to obtain Enemy Weapons from green ring enemies.
- Special Unite Morph attacks (e.g. Unite Tombstone, Unite Blade Glider, Wonderful Forever) cannot be used to obtain Enemy Weapons, even though they correspond to Unite Morphs for Combo purposes.
- Unite Drill, Unite Bowgun, Unify Naginata, Unify Boomerang, and Unite Goggles cannot be used to obtain Enemy Weapons.
- Wonder-Gramps' no-damage Unite Bomb can still be used to obtain enemy weapons from purple ring enemies, but after being affected by his Unite Bomb the enemy must be killed without using another Unite Morph, such as by idle team member attacks.
- Wonder-Scarf's white-colored, ice-element Unite Whip obtains Enemy Weapons from white ring enemies instead of pink ring enemies.
- Direct hits from Wonder-Daddy's red-colored, fire-element Unite Claw obtains Enemy Weapons from white ring enemies, but the fire damage will instead obtain Enemy Weapons from red ring enemies, making Wonder-Daddy unreliable to obtain Enemy Weapons in either situation.
- Wonder-Bayonetta's unique red-colored Unite Guns obtains Enemy Weapons from red ring enemies instead of green ring enemies.
- Wonder-Jeanne's white-colored Unite Sword still obtains Enemy Weapons from blue ring enemies.
- Wonder-Future, Poseman, and Wonder-Rodin's Unite Morphs all obtain Enemy Weapons normally from red ring and yellow ring enemies, respectively.
For consistent results and to avoid confusion, its best to avoid using hidden characters or items when attempting to obtain an Enemy Weapon, and to simply use the basic versions of Unite Morphs.
Additionally, enemies can drop their Enemy Weapon even in situations where the normal colored rings spawning animation doesn't play, such as when the enemy enters into battle during a cutscene, or if the enemy already exists in the game world before the battle begins. In these situations the correct Unite Morph will have to be guessed, but it is possible to obtain their Enemy Weapon nonetheless. The only exception to this is during Operation 009-C, in which enemies seem to never drop their weapons in any circumstance.
List of Enemy Weapons[]
Chew Dough-Goo[]
Super-Magnetic Fists[]

Super-Magnetic Fists are single-use Enemy Weapons that shoot forward in a straight line when used, passing through enemies until they collide with a solid wall and are destroyed, making them similar to Surey Doora Shurikens. While the extra damage and combo points can be helpful, Super-Magnetic Fists can be difficult to hit enemies with due to their small hitboxes and slow speed, making them one of the less useful Enemy Weapons.
GEATHJERK Baseball Bat[]

At the end of Operation 001-B's final mission, special Chew Dough-Goos equipped with a Baseball Bat are deployed from the Die-Tiekuu. On death, these Baseball Chew Dough-Goos always drop their Baseball Bat.
GEATHJERK Baseball Bats are 10 charge Enemy Weapons that perform a short range but very fast swing attack. Each swing that successfully connects with a target depletes 1 charge. Using the GEATHJERK Baseball Bat is the only way to to defend against the Die-Tiekuu's main cannon shots, and each successful swing will reflect its shot back at it until the Die-Tiekuu is destroyed.
If your GEATHJERK Baseball Bat runs out of charges (which is only possible by wasting charges on any remaining Dough-Goos), the Die-Tiekuu will deploy another Chew Dough-Goo carrying a new one.
Hoedown[]

Hoedown Cannons are 10 charge Enemy Weapons that fire cannonballs in a straight line that explode on impact. Due to their infinite range, high damage, high rate of fire, and ability to stunlock enemies that are affected by explosions, Hoedown Cannons are among the most powerful Enemy Weapons, and they should be obtained and used whenever possible.
Hoedown Cannons are functionally identical to Gehdown Cannons.
Diedough-Goo[]

Diedough-Goo Arms are 10 charge enemy weapons that perform a slow punch attack similar to the first hit of Unite Hand's basic attack. While the extra Combo points earned by using a Diedough-Goo Arm can be helpful, it doesn't deal much more damage than simply using a Unite Morph instead, making them one of the less useful Enemy Weapons.
Dahkarts[]

Dahkarts Tails are 10 charge Enemy Weapons that perform a very fast, long rage strike similar to a strike from Unite Whip. Due to their long range and area of effect, fast attack speed, and high damage, Dahkarts Tails are among the most powerful Enemy Weapons and should be obtained and used whenever possible.
Note that, while similar to Unite Whip, Dahkarts Tails are not able to hit spiked surfaces, and the weapon will be dropped on the ground when attempting to do so.
Raydown[]

Raydown Cannons are 3 charge Enemy Weapons that fire a laser beam, similar to Unite Goggles. The laser has a practically unlimited range, penetrates enemies, and can be rotated 360° while firing, but cannot be aimed up or down. Raydown Cannons deal high damage and earn a large amounts of Combo points, however because the laser beam deals its damage over time and aiming the cannon is slow, they're ineffective against fast/dodging enemies that are too difficult to follow with the laser for the attack's entire duration.
Notably, Raydown Cannons are capable of being used for Bomb-Liner style damage exploits.
Gedie Dough-Goo[]

Gedie Dough-Goo Drills are 10 charge enemy weapons that perform a drill punch attack when used, similar to Unite Drill. If the drill punch connects with an enemy, you can start drilling into them by mashing the attack button, dealing extra damage for a few seconds. While the extra damage and combo points can be helpful, Gedie Dough-Goo Drills have a low range and slow attack method, making them one of the less useful Enemy Weapons.
As a sharp weapon, Gedie Dough-Goo Drills can be used to attack a Nyerk.
Gedie Dough-Goo Drills are functionally identical to Gurry Doora Drills.
Gehdown[]

Gehdown Cannons are functionally identical to Hoedown Cannons.
Megang[]

Megang Blades are 3 charge Enemy Weapons that spin rapidly when used, which if done in place simply spins it overhead, or you can also spin it in front of you while moving slowly, making it similar to Unify Naginata. Megang Blades are fast, cover a wide area, and deal a decent amount of damage per attack, making them worth using against most enemies when available.
Due to their extremely large size, Megang Blades can be awkward to carry through certain areas. In these situations, Unite Ball can be used to move more easily while holding an Enemy Weapon.
Note that, while similar to Unify Naginata, a Megang Blades' attack has no defensive properties whatsoever, and it provides no protection from overhead attacks or piercing drill attacks.
As a sharp weapon, Megang Blades can be used to attack a Nyerk.
Orgon[]

No, not an Oregon Trail
Orgon Tails are 10 charge Enemy Weapons that perform an overhead slash into the ground when used, making them similar to Ankho Swords. Although they have a short range, Orgon Tails are fast and deal a moderate amount of damage per attack, and they have a tendency to hit larger enemies multiple times in a single attack, making them worth using against most enemies when available.
As a sharp weapon, Orgon Tails can be used to attack a Nyerk.
Ankho[]

Ankho Swords are 10 charge Enemy Weapons that perform an overhead slash into the ground when used, making them similar to Orgon Tails. Ankho Swords are slow and deal somewhat low damage, however, their extremely large size makes them effective at hitting several enemies at the same time, or even a single large enemy multiple times in a single attack. This makes them fairly powerful in certain situations, but less useful against individual small enemies.
Due to their extremely large size, Ankho Swords can be awkward to carry through certain areas. In these situations, Unite Ball can be used to move more easily while holding an Enemy Weapon.
As a sharp weapon, Ankho Swords can be used to attack a Nyerk.
Hah-Gonay[]

Hah-Gonay Heads are 3 charge Enemy Weapons that spray a jet of fire when used, passing through enemies and igniting everything it hits.
Hah-Gonay Heads deal excellent damage and earn an outrageous amount of Combo points when used —anywhere from 2000 to 3000 on average— making them one of the most powerful Enemy Weapons, and they should be obtained and used whenever possible.
Doora[]

Doora Claws are 10 charge Enemy Weapons that perform two quick slash attacks when used, similar to the first two hits of Unite Claw's basic attack. Although they have a short range, Doora Claws are fast and deal a moderate amount of damage per attack, making them worth using against most enemies when available.
As a sharp weapon, Doora Claws can be used to attack a Nyerk.
Surey Doora[]

Surey Doora Shurikens are single-use Enemy Weapons that are thrown forward in a straight line when used, passing through enemies until they collide with a solid wall and are destroyed, making them similar to a Chew Dough-Goo's Super-Magnetic Fists. Surey Doora Shurikens deal a moderate amount of damage and their large hitbox makes them effective at hitting several enemies at the same time, making them worth using against most enemies when available.
As a sharp weapon, Surey Doora Shurikens can be used to attack a Nyerk.
Deah-Kani[]

Deah-Kani Claws are 10 charge Enemy Weapons that perform a cutting pinch attack when used. Deah-Kani Claws are fast, attack a very wide area, and deal high damage, making them worth using against most enemies when available.
Due to their extremely large size, Deah-Kani Claws can be awkward to carry through certain areas. In these situations, Unite Ball can be used to move more easily while holding an Enemy Weapon.
As a sharp weapon, Deah-Kani Claws could be used to attack a Nyerk, however, there are no opportunities to do so in the game.
Gurry Doora[]

Gurry Doora Drills are functionally identical to Gedie Dough-Goo Drills.
Other Weapons[]
While not technically considered Enemy Weapons by the game, as they do not count for the Mind if I Borrow That? Bottle-Cap, the following items can also be obtained from defeated enemies and used to your advantage.
You-Hough[]

Red You-Houghs can leave their UFO behind when killed. These UFOs can be entered when approached, and used to fly around horizontally in the air. While riding a UFO, jumping will make it hover up and down briefly, and using the Team Attack button will fire its machine gun. UFOs can be exited at any time by activating any Unite Morph, which destroys the UFO. Being attacked while riding a UFO will also destroy it.
UFOs also have a hidden usage limit, after which they self-destruct with no warning. This limit seems to vary depending on where the UFO is used.
UFOs are practically useless for combat, but in some situations the mobility offered from using a UFO is useful or required to reach hidden collectibles.
Tiekuu[]

The Tiekuu encountered during Operation 001-B leaves behind its cannon when destroyed. By circling the cannon using the Wonder-Liner you can pick up and carry it with 4 team members, causing it to reactivate and automatically fire at any nearby enemies, dealing extremely large amounts of damage to anything it hits.
The cannon takes damage each time it fires, and will start smoking and sparking as its health decreases. The cannon also takes damage every time it's thrown or dropped until it's eventually destroyed.

If the Tiekuu cannon is carried during Mission 007, the Mission will actually keep going beyond the first pair of Diedough-Goos: more waves of Diedough-Goos will appear as you travel through the city with the cannon, ending in a confrontation against a single Dahkarts, all of which will not otherwise appear if the cannon is not carried during the Mission.
The Tiekuu cannon can only be used during Mission 006 and 007 and does not appear anywhere else in the game. The cannon is automatically destroyed after completing Mission 007.
Trivia[]
- The Enemy Weapons system is based on the Angel Arms system from the Bayonetta series.
