"*P-ping!* Main-cannon energy levels rising!
A single shot of that magnitude would blow a hole right through the Virgin Victory! *Bzzt!*"
― P-Star analyzing the Die-Tiekuu's firepower, Operation 001-B
The Die-Tiekuu is a mobile fortress used by the GEATHJERK Federation Supreme Armada. An even larger and more powerful version of Tiekuu, the Die-Tiekuu is a portable enemy base equipped with weaponry that rivals even large-scale warships like the Virgin Victory.
The Die-Tiekuu makes its first and only appearance in Operation 001-B, where it's placed inside a baseball stadium by the GEATHJERK Officer Laambo and fought as an end level mini boss.
While the Die-Tiekuu only appears once, another enemy based on its design, the Die-Rixen, is encountered later in the game.
GEATHJERK File[]
A large-scale mobile anti-aircraft fortress.
Like the Type-88, it is fully capable of independent flight. The Die-Tiekuu is a formidable weapon in its own right, designed to be placed anywhere as a large-scale military base able to exert control over a large swath of enemy territory.
The enormous Jerk Buster cannon mounted on its top is powerful enough to penetrate an optical barrier in 0.002 seconds and in practice has shown itself capable of destroying dozens of enemy warships with a single blast. As if that weren't enough, it is also equipped with four rapid-fire molecular-disintegrator cannons, providing it with ample firepower for taking on multiple enemy ground and air units. Altogether, its total offensive capabilities make it the equal of any large-scale warship.
Description[]

The Die-Tiekuu's main cannon.
The Die-Tiekuu is a fortress consisting of a large main cannon mounted on top a round base. At the front of the Die-Tiekuu's base is a hatch allowing troops to enter and exit, and around the sides and back of the base are ten spiked anchors used to secure itself into the ground.
On the front side of the Die-Tiekuu are four secondary cannons (two at each side of the hatch) that are identical in appearance to Tiekuu cannons, but with red sides. The Die-Tiekuu's main cannon is protected inside a dome when not in use, and once activated it's slow to aim and fire, but incredibly powerful.
Each of the Die-Tiekuu's four secondary cannons take damage separately, and change in color from blue, to green, to orange, and finally to red as they're damaged until they're destroyed. Their health is also indicated by a health gauge on-screen whenever damaged. Once its main cannon is activated, the Die-Tiekuu's overall health is indicated by the boss health bar.
The entire underside of the Die-Tiekuu is a glowing blue thruster bearing the GEATHJERK symbol, allowing it to take to the air and relocate itself via flight.
Gameplay[]

The Die-Tiekuu only appears during the final Mission of Operation 001-B. The Mission is essentially a three-phase battle split into destroying the Die-Tiekuu's secondary cannons, defeating Laambo, and finally destroying the Die-Tiekuu's main cannon, which destroys the fortress entirely and ends the level.

Trivia[]
- The "Die" part of the name Die-Tiekuu is derived from "大 (dai)", the Japanese word for big, meaning that Die-Tiekuu is essentially a "big Tiekuu." [1]
