I could have sworn that the guidebook says...

Dahkarts (Self-Replicated), also known as Mini-Dahkarts[1], are the immature offspring of Dahkarts. Weak and completely defenseless on their own, Mini-Dahkarts are only capable attacking their prey in swarms until they grow to full size.
First encountered in Operation 004-A, Mini-Dahkarts are frequently encountered as obstacles during Unite Claw climbing sections.
GEATHJERK File[]
[Excerpt from GEATHJERK File No.007 (Dahkarts)]
Dahkarts is also able to self-replicate as need be; however, these self-replicated offspring lack the hard outer exterior of their parent creature, leaving their exterior surface covered in a green, soft skin. Self-replicated Dahkarts also lack much of the physical power and vitality of their parent at birth, but they begin feeding almost immediately, allowing them to reach full maturity in approximately 24 hours.
Description[]
As an immature form of Dahkarts, Mini-Dahkarts closely resemble their parent creatures, but are much smaller in size and have a soft, pastel green exoskeleton. Mini-Dahkarts keep their tails coiled up at all times with their stinger covering their face, only revealing their face to spit acid.

Because of their extremely low health, complete lack of defenses, and general inability live long enough to attack, Mini-Dahkarts are easily the weakest enemies in entire the game, and they can be defeated in one or two hits from any Unite Morph. Mini-Dahkarts are often encountered as obstacles during climbing sections, however, even Unite Claw's climbing swipe attack can still kill them in only a few hits.
Mini-Dahkarts possess all the same attacks as a full-grown Dahkarts (even the tail swing, which looks pretty weird) with the exact same properties. Like their parents, a Mini-Dahkarts' most dangerous attack is arguably its Acid Spit attack, as it can very suddenly deal damage with little warning, however they rarely survive long enough to use it.
Mini-Dahkarts are almost exclusively encountered climbing on walls, however, they do appear on the ground in the Prologue on Hard and 101% Hard, and in Operation 005-B's Kahkoo-regah Secret Mission.
